Dr. Lisson provides individual therapy to ADULT clients (20+) and has significant clinical experience treating the following conditions:
- Depression (mild or moderate)
- Anxiety Disorders (PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder)
- Perinatal Mental Health, Postpartum depression, infertility, parental stress
- Bariatric Surgery (preparing for or adjustment afterward) * I do not offer psychological evaluations for bariatric surgery
- Food addiction, Binge Eating Disorder or Emotional-eating
- Acute or Chronic Stress
- Stress from living with any medical condition, disease, or disability
- Caregiver burnout
- Languishing- the sense of emptiness or stagnation; some people describe it as the "meh" feeling
- Insomnia
- Trauma
- Grief
- Conflict resolution within relationships
- Adjustment to life events, i.e., divorce, relocation, empty-nest
* I do not have expertise and training to treat Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder or Substance Abuse Disorders. Since I do not have access to immediate medical treatment in my facility, I do not accept clients with severe mental illness, active suicidal ideation, or anyone who has been in a psychiatric facility in the last 12 months. I do not offer family therapy or couples counseling.
